The programme has been designed to assist these individuals to live a positive and productive life by setting inspriring goals and achieving them by eliminating limiting beliefs.The programme consists of a full day HIV & AIDS Awareness programme to educate the individual everything there is to know about HIV before starting with the 13 one on one life coaching sessions. We focus on 3 key areas of the person’s life which Health is a priority element.

Now what is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is a way to realise your true potential, through a process of uncovering and eliminating destructive behavioural and thinking patterns (values, beliefs and rules) in your life- in a supportive, caring and inspirational environment.This is achieved by empowering people with specific tools and scientifically tested techniques that work. Coaching is a solution-focussed approach to personal development that can assist you clients to make lasting changes in all areas of their lives.

Difference between Counselling and Coaching?

  • Counselling pays a lot of attention to a perceived “problem” in a person’s life. It focuses on the effect of the past on the present. It tries to identify how some past events of significant proportions may have caused you to feel the way you do about yourself and her life presently. It seeks to resolve your feelings in relation to that event by revisiting it and attempting to deal with it.
  • Coaching focuses on acceptance and observation of what currently exists in a person’s life and what the client can do by his/her own action and self-belief to change his/her life for the future removing or neutralising the pain of quilt or fear and how to change their approach to build and maintain in a more positive future.

Who should attend?

  • For individuals who have been newly diagnosed or have been living with HIV that wants to make everlasting changes in their lives.

Duration:

  • 1 Full day – HIV & AIDS Awareness
  • 13 x 2 hour Life Coaching Sessions will be scheduled every 2 weeks for 6 months.
